Exciting pug housebreaking stories reveal everything you could ever
Our family just recently added a pug puppy to our home and we absolutely love her.She is called Sapphire and is 11 weeks young.Potty training her is proving to be an interesting experience.
It is not unusual for pugs to have days that they do real good and then its like she is mad at us for something and that is how she is getting back at us. She hates spending any amount of time by herself and gets quite upset when we go to work
Our pug likes to be a bit of a diva and whimpers to beat the band when she sees my husband putting on his coat and hat and heading for the door. Our little treasure craves attention 24/7 and she knows that the pooch pad is the place to receive it, so if she wants our approval she waddles over to it as quickly as possible
We have left every stone unturned to help her to go to the potty. Then there are days like yesterday where she won't go to the door or the puppy pad. There are times when we take her out the back and show her the grass but to no avail
Our local veterinarian told us that pug dogs can have issues with worms and we hoped he would be able to unravel the mystery. We haven't changed anything in her diet, she's not fed off the table, her reward for doing good is a treat piece of dog bone for puppies
Now she is beginning to do her jobbies in her doggie taxi which I cant work out, I am sure I saw on telly that puppies are known to do this . She gets to go outside every 2 hours or so no matter how much water she has consumed.
She manages to last eight to ten hours depending on how long she sleeps for,A few weeks ago I left the door open so she could go to the toilet on her pug dog pad but that was a failure. She wasn't using the pad she was using everything else including my husbands sock -- he was not happy
We never raise our voice at our pet just simply take her out and tell her to go on the grass. How can we fix this mess up.Should we just choose between the pad and outside or will that frustrate her even more.I cant imagine what we have done wrong so that she is so confused. We desperately need your help. What can we do to set her on the straight and narrow so that she is properly housetrained.
